Can waterproof floors have character?
One of the questions we frequently hear is if waterproof flooring has a realistic wood look. The answer is a resounding yes.
With literally hundreds of images that follow all the trends, you can get everything from gray to Brazilian cherry to oak and more floors.
Looking like it just came out from the forest
That's the most accurate way to describe character grades. It has cracks, wormholes, knots, minerals, streaks-everything Mother Nature creates.
Two of the best species for character grade are white oak and black walnut, but we have a wide selection of photos from which you can choose. Feel free to visit us if you need the best waterproof floors in Houston.
White oak is an open pore with an unusual grain pattern. Black walnut has a dramatic dark chocolate brown color.
Engineered luxury vinyl
If you want to know more about the style, consider luxury vinyl. That's because this is a more advanced version of the product.
This flooring is engineered to be thicker, more durable, and constructed with either the WPC or SPC core. Wood plastic composite (WPC) and stone plastic composite (SPC) cores are technologically advanced and won't peel or ripple.
Both cores are graded for commercial use. While they both offer the same level of waterproof capability, the feeling underfoot is different. WPC is a flexible, resilient product, while SPC is solid and rigid, like a hard surface.
Like luxury vinyl, it is easy to care for. Installation is a simple floating floor with a click, mat, and hover.
